Marième Diop

Marième Diop is currently a Desk Manager at the President of Senegal’s Delivery Unit where she is in charge of coordinating and monitoring 6 of the country’s 27 flagship development projects. After graduating from one of France’s top engineering schools, Telecom Paris, she worked as a consultant for BearingPoint Consulting before joining the Telecommunications giant, Orange, as a Business Consulting Manager in France. In her current role with the government, Marième is tasked with leveraging Senegal’s potential in multiple fields especially in the services sector, to attract top investors and tourists from around the World in the perspective of boosting the Senegalese economy. Marième is a member of several think-tanks (e.g. Emerging Leaders Program & WEF Global shapers’ community) which foster unique networks of young leaders across continents who are exceptional in their potential and their drive to make a contribution to their communities and countries. Marième is also very passionate about arts especially abstract paintings and music.
